Lucknow: As part of the ongoing Mission Shakti initiative to empower women and girls, Arisha Khan, a student from Lalbagh Inter College, assumed the role of Station House Officer (SHO) of Kaiserbagh Police Station for a day.
The event, held on Saturday, allowed Arisha, a resident of Lalbagh, to gain hands-on experience in police administration and women’s safety operations. She inspected the police station, learned about measures in place for women’s protection, and interacted with visitors to understand their concerns.
The program was conducted in the presence of ADCP Dhananjay Kushwaha and ACP Kaiserbagh Ratnesh Singh, who guided Arisha through the station’s functioning. During the session, Lalbagh police staff familiarized her with day-to-day operations and emergency procedures.

This unique initiative under Mission Shakti sends a strong message to young girls, fostering confidence, responsibility, and awareness about community safety, while encouraging them to take active roles in societal development.
