11 Years of Modi Government: BJP to present Decade-Long Report Card

New Delhi: As the Modi-led NDA government marks 11 years in power, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to unveil a comprehensive report highlighting its key achievements and transformative policies over the past decade and more. At 12 PM today, BJP National President J.P. Nadda will address a press conference from the party headquarters in New Delhi, presenting what the party calls a “Development Report” focused on “Seva, Su-Shasan, and Garib Kalyan” (Service, Good Governance, and Welfare of the Poor).

Nadda: “Modi Government Worked for Every Section of Society”

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), J.P. Nadda stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has witnessed unprecedented progress across sectors. From elevating India’s global diplomatic stature to becoming the fourth-largest economy, the government’s policy direction has, he said, brought significant and widespread change.

“From farmers to women, youth, traders, labourers, and the elderly – every section of society has seen positive transformation due to Modi government initiatives,” Nadda wrote.

Flagship Schemes That Defined the Decade

In his pre-brief, Nadda highlighted several central schemes that have become emblematic of the Modi era:

  • Ayushman Bharat – Jan Arogya Yojana: Provided free health coverage to crores of economically disadvantaged families.

  • Ujjwala Yojana: Freed millions of women from smoke-filled kitchens through the distribution of LPG connections.

  • PM Awas Yojana: Aimed to provide housing for all, especially the underprivileged.

  • Jan Dhan Yojana: Enabled millions to open bank accounts and integrate into the formal financial system.

  • MUDRA and Self-Employment Schemes: Boosted entrepreneurship and self-reliance in rural India.

  • Drone Didi & Self-Help Groups: Empowered women and promoted grassroots innovation.

These schemes, according to BJP, have played a crucial role in uplifting rural India and in advancing the government’s vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).

Vision of a Developed India

Reaffirming the government’s foundational slogan, “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” Nadda emphasized that India is now progressing rapidly toward becoming a ‘Developed India’. He attributed this trajectory to 11 years of visionary, stable, and determined governance.

“These 11 years are not just a milestone, but a source of inspiration,” Nadda stated. “Our goal is a stronger, more inclusive, and globally respected India.”

What Comes Next?

While BJP sees today’s event as an opportunity to showcase its track record, the larger question will be how the public interprets this report card — whether as a celebration of achievements or a reminder of greater responsibility ahead.

As the party prepares for the 2029 general elections and continued governance amid a changing global landscape, today’s narrative of progress and accountability could shape both public perception and political momentum.
