Gonda — A one-day district-level Dairy Conclave will be held on August 5 at 11 am at the District Panchayat Auditorium, Gonda, organized jointly by the Dugdhshala Vikas (Dairy Development) Department and the Animal Husbandry Department. The aim is to spread wider awareness of welfare schemes run by both departments and ensure more cattle-rearers and milk producers actually benefit from them. The Chief Development Officer has directed all concerned officials to have the necessary arrangements in place well within time.
At the conclave, experts will walk participants through the Nand Baba Milk Mission, the Dairy Policy 2022, modern dairy management practices, formal milk processing, fodder management, and the identification, prevention, monitoring, control, and vaccination of animal diseases, along with the various schemes run by the dairy and animal husbandry departments. Alongside officials from both departments, senior scientists and subject experts from the Krishi Vigyan Kendra and the agricultural university will also share their insights and technical knowledge.
On instructions from the Milk Commissioner’s office, Deputy Dairy Development Officer Anuj Kumar Yadav has been named coordinator for the conclave in Gonda district. He has been tasked with working alongside the Chief Veterinary Officer to ensure all preparations are completed on time, along with confirming availability of the district panchayat auditorium, inviting public representatives and experts, and putting other necessary arrangements in place.
The Chief Development Officer has directed that maximum participation be ensured from progressive cattle-rearers, milk producers, and other stakeholders. Pamphlets and promotional material related to the Nand Baba Milk Mission, Dairy Policy 2022, and other departmental welfare schemes will also be distributed at the event.
