Despite the Cold, Chief Minister Meets People at the New Year’s First Janata Darshan
Despite the chilly weather, the Chief Minister interacted with the public during the first Janata Darshan of the year. This time, the event was held at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan in Gorakhnath Temple, where the public was seated on chairs instead of the floor. Chief Minister Adityanath personally moved to the chairs to meet each individual, hear their concerns, and understand their problems.
Swift Resolution of Complaints
The grievances presented by the people ranged from requests for economic assistance to appeals for help with medical treatment. The Chief Minister assured the people that the state government would provide full assistance for medical treatment, and directed the concerned authorities to expedite all related procedures. He also stressed the need for transparency and fairness in resolving revenue and police-related matters.
Adityanath stated, “No person should face injustice. If someone is illegally occupying land, they will be dealt with strictly under the law.”
Continuing the Tradition of Cow Service
During his visit to Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also spent time at the Gorakhnath Temple’s gosala (cow shelter). He began his day by offering prayers and paying homage to Guru Gorakhnath, as well as visiting the Samadhi of his guru, Mahant Avedyanath.
In the gosala, the Chief Minister took a keen interest in the health of the cows and fed them jaggery. Calling out to the cows by their names, many of them came running to greet him. Showing his affection for the cows, the Chief Minister ensured that proper care would be taken of them, especially in the cold weather, and gave instructions to the officials to ensure their well-being.
This Janata Darshan event highlighted the Chief Minister’s proactive approach to governance, his commitment to ensuring justice for every individual, and his continued dedication to animal welfare, especially in the context of his beloved cow service tradition.
