Lucknow— The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), University of Lucknow, organized a Workshop and Sensitization Programme on “Building Best Practices for Departmental Data Management” for DQAC members on October 31, 2025, at the Chanakya Auditorium, Faculty of Management Studies.
The inaugural session was presided over by Prof. Manuka Khanna, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow, who also graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof. Sangeeta Sahu, Director, IQAC, and Convenor of the workshop, welcomed the participants and explained the purpose of the initiative—to equip departmental representatives with effective tools for maintaining quality and accuracy in data management.
In her address, Prof. Khanna emphasized the importance of accuracy, inclusivity, and timely submission of data from all faculty members. She underlined the vital role of DQAC members in ensuring academic excellence, institutional accountability, and accreditation success, urging them to contribute actively as key members of the University family.
The workshop featured four technical sessions and interactive discussions addressing participants’ queries. Topics included The Prapatra, Faculty Data for NAAC, Departmental Data Management, and Report Compilation for the Bi-Annual IQAC Magazine.
The event concluded with an engaging exchange of ideas and a vote of thanks by Prof. S.P. Singh, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, marking a productive step toward enhancing the University’s data governance framework.
