Lucknow: The Palms Golf Club & Resort, Lucknow, successfully organised the “The Palms Monthly Medal Round – July 2026” on July 25, 2026. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from 51 golfers across various age groups and handicap categories, showcasing exceptional skill and competitive spirit.
The special prizes included the Straightest Drive (Hole No. 1), won by Vishnukant Pandey, and Closest to the Pin (Hole No. 3), secured by R.P. Shahi.
In the Veterans Category, Group Captain Rajesh G. Srivastava emerged as the winner, while Yogesh Bajpai was the runner-up. In the 15–18 Handicap Category, Lt. Col. Gurcharan Singh won the title, followed by Ms. Alia Shishodia. Commodore Manish Mishra and Col. S.M. Bharti secured the top two positions in the 10–14 Handicap Category.
In the 0–9 Handicap Category, Col. N.S. Chauhan claimed the winner’s title, with Lt. Col. Anupam Mishra finishing as runner-up. Shiv Prasad was declared the overall winner, while Master Reyansh Suri won the Special Category.

A special recognition ceremony was held for retired IAS officer S.K. Singh for his remarkable “Hole in One” achievement. He was honoured with a certificate by HDFC Bank Zonal Head Ajay Gupta.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by senior officials from HDFC Bank and Audi Lucknow, who felicitated the winners and appreciated their sporting excellence. Club management expressed gratitude to all participants and guests, reaffirming its commitment to promoting golf through more such prestigious tournaments in the future.
