Lucknow: The Palms Golf Club & Resort successfully organized the “The Palms Golf Tournament 2026 – Monthly Medal Round” on Sunday, witnessing enthusiastic participation from 51 golfers across various categories. The tournament showcased competitive spirit, sportsmanship, and impressive performances from players of different age groups and handicap levels.
The event featured a series of closely contested rounds, with participants competing for top honours in multiple categories. Golfers displayed exceptional skill and determination, making the competition both exciting and memorable.
Special Prize Winners
In the special awards category, Rishi Duggal claimed the Closest to the Pin title on Hole No. 3 with an impressive shot finishing just 12 feet from the pin. Sanjay Singh won the Straightest Drive award on Hole No. 1 with a remarkable accuracy of 1.5 metres.
Junior/Special Category
Young golfers also showcased their talent during the tournament. Master Shabd Agrawal emerged as the winner in the Junior/Special Category, while Kumari Alia Sisodia secured the runner-up position.
Veterans Category
In the Veterans Category, Harsh Rastogi delivered a commendable performance to clinch the winner’s title. Brigadier R. K. Srivastava finished as the runner-up after a spirited contest.
Handicap Categories
In the 11–18 Handicap Category, Anubhav Srivastava emerged victorious, while Vishnukant Pandey secured the runner-up position.
The 0–10 Handicap Category witnessed strong competition among experienced golfers. Colonel N. S. Chauhan claimed the winner’s title, with Abhay Srivastava finishing as runner-up.
Overall Champion
The coveted title of Overall Winner of the Monthly Medal Round 2026 was won by Vikram Sisodia, whose outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned him the top honour.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Justice Shekhar B. Saraf as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Justice Masoodi, Major General Mukesh Agrawal (Retd.), and several distinguished members of The Palms Golf Club & Resort.
