Gonda: A meeting of the Youth Pharmacist Federation was held on Wednesday at the Chaudhary Charan Singh meeting hall in the Irrigation Department office, where members drew up plans for the upcoming World Pharmacist Day on September 25.
The meeting brought together tehsil and block presidents from across the district, and several important proposals were approved during the discussion. District president Rohit Mishra said the block-level executive committees have been given specific responsibilities, with the meeting focusing particularly on issues at the local level, including the requirement for a qualified pharmacist to be present at every medical store.
General secretary Rakesh Shukla said the federation plans to mark World Pharmacist Day on September 25 with a medical camp, fruit distribution at the medical college, a seminar, and distribution of essential supplies. A grand celebration is being planned for the day, and office-bearers have been assigned specific responsibilities to make it happen.

Those present at the meeting included vice-presidents Sanjay Awasthi, Anshuman Mishra, Brijesh Shukla and Harshit Mishra; treasurer Sanat Kumar Pandey; Gopal Sahu; secretary Dhirendra Pandey; media in-charge Adarsh Shukla; and Brijbhushan Pandey, Lavkush, Manoj, Ankit and Mahesh Sahu, among others.
