Lucknow: An interactive session of researchers was organized by Professor Archana Singh, Head of the Department of Applied Economics, with the Vice Chancellor.
The interactive session started with the welcome of the Vice Chancellor. Pro. Madhurima Lal, Director Cultural welcomed the Vice Chancellor by giving a bunch of flowers, after which Prof. Anoop K. Singh and Prof. Bimal Jaiswal presented mementos.
In the session, Professor Sangeeta Sahu (Dean, Student Welfare), Professor Rachna Mujju (Dean, Faculty of Commerce), teachers of the department Dr. Ranjit Singh, Dr. Jai Lakshmi Sharma, Dr. Aastha Pathak and Dr. Karuna Shankar Kanojia and Dr. Deepak Verma. were also present.
The discussion focused on understanding the research problem, building a strong conceptual framework, contributing to subject knowledge, and enhancing the quality of the analysis. Researchers were encouraged to focus on publishing research papers.
During the discussion, the Vice Chancellor also shared the method of presenting his research paper with the researcher.
There was a good dialogue between the VC and the research scholars in the dialogue session, during which the research scholars thanked the VC for providing a good academic environment and also shared their subjective requests and suggestions.
Concluding the session Professor Rachna Muju presented a vote of thanks to the VC, Professor Sangeeta Sahu for her presence and Professor Archana Singh for organizing such a wonderful session.
Prof. Alok Kumar Rai is Professor of Management at Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University and currently Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lucknow in his second term. He has been Vice-Chancellor (additional charge) of Dr. BR Ambedkar University in Agra, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya in Varanasi, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow.
