Lucknow: Preparations are underway for a grand Shri Ram Katha by revered spiritual leader Jagadguru Rambhadracharya, scheduled to be held from June 1 to June 9 at the Brij Ki Rasoi premises on Sitapur Road in Lucknow.
Ahead of the event, an organizing committee led by Neeraj Bora met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and formally invited him to attend the religious gathering.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister unveiled the official poster of the event, which features a specially designed katha stage inspired by the architecture of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He also conveyed his best wishes to the organizers for the successful conduct of the nine-day spiritual programme.
According to MLA Neeraj Bora, the Ram Katha will be held daily from 5 pm to 8 pm and is expected to attract a large number of devotees from Lucknow and nearby districts.
Preparations at the venue are in full swing, with a massive pandal being constructed to accommodate devotees. A key attraction of the event will be a grand replica of the Shri Ram Temple being created behind the main discourse platform. The structure is being crafted by skilled artisans from West Bengal and is intended to recreate the visual grandeur of the Ayodhya temple.

Organizers said the elaborate stage design will enhance the spiritual atmosphere of the event and provide devotees with a unique devotional experience during the discourse sessions.
Neeraj Bora appealed to the public to participate in large numbers and take advantage of the opportunity to listen to the teachings and spiritual discourses of Jagadguru Rambhadracharya.
Members of the organizing committee present during the meeting with the Chief Minister included Rakesh Pandey, Sanjeev Agarwal, Shyamji Agarwal, Sunil Agarwal, and Manoj Agarwal.
The event is expected to be one of the prominent religious gatherings in the city this season, combining spiritual discourse with a visually striking representation of one of India’s most significant temple landmarks.
