Relief Kits Distributed to More Than 1,100 Flood-Affected Families in Gonda

Gonda: The Gonda district administration has intensified relief and assistance measures for families affected by flooding, ensuring that essential supplies reach even villages located in the most affected areas.

As part of the ongoing relief efforts, more than 1,100 flood-affected families in Jabar Nagar and Garhi villages under Tarabganj tehsil were provided relief material kits. Tarabganj MLA Prem Narayan Pandey, Chief Revenue Officer Rinki Jaiswal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Tarabganj Pradeep Kumar Singh and District Disaster Expert Rajesh Srivastava distributed the kits among affected families.

The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the administration and elected representatives for the assistance. Officials said the district administration was working with sensitivity and urgency to ensure that flood-affected families did not face unnecessary hardship during the crisis.

Following the directions of District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, the Chief Revenue Officer, SDM Tarabganj, District Disaster Expert and Tehsildar Tarabganj have been regularly visiting flood-affected areas. Officials are reaching villages and meeting affected families to assess their problems and determine their immediate requirements.

Lunch packets were also distributed to residents during the visits. Officials interacted with villagers, took note of their needs and assured them that every possible assistance would be provided. They said there would be no shortage of relief and rescue efforts and that essential facilities would be arranged according to the needs of affected residents.

The district administration is maintaining continuous monitoring of the flood-affected areas. Administrative officials and revenue department teams are regularly visiting villages to assess the situation and deliver relief material to affected families.

Special attention is being given to ensuring that families living in the farthest and most difficult-to-reach parts of the flood-affected areas are not left out of relief operations.

Regular field visits, monitoring and distribution of relief supplies are continuing. Officials assured residents that the district administration stands firmly with them and remains committed to providing all possible assistance to every family affected by the floods.
