Gonda: Superintendent of Police Abhishek held a Sainik Sammelan and crime review meeting at the Police Lines auditorium on Thursday to assess the concerns of police personnel, crime control measures and preparations for upcoming festivals.
During the Sainik Sammelan, the SP interacted with police personnel and heard their problems and suggestions. Officials concerned were directed to ensure their prompt and effective resolution. Personnel were instructed to perform their duties with discipline, dedication and sensitivity while giving priority to public grievances.

At the subsequent crime meeting, the SP reviewed law and order, pending cases, crime prevention measures and preparations for Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja and Dussehra. Officers were directed to identify sensitive locations, deploy adequate forces, strengthen patrolling, manage crowds and traffic, and maintain coordination with event organisers.

The SP also reviewed investigations into serious offences, including kidnapping cases, and directed officers to ensure timely collection of evidence and effective use of surveillance and technical resources.
Instructions were also issued to strengthen night patrolling, check suspicious persons and vehicles, monitor history-sheeters, ensure effective prosecution and install and monitor CCTV cameras at important locations.
