Akshayavat Corridor – The Akshayavat, revered as the eternal symbol of Tirtharaj Prayagraj in ancient Puranas, holds immense spiritual significance. It is believed that this sacred tree remains indestructible even during the cosmic deluge, and a mere glimpse of it grants liberation. According to legend, during the Treta Yuga, Lord Shri Ram visited Akshayavat along with Mother Sita and Lakshman, further sanctifying its significance.
Saraswati Koop – The Puranas glorify Prayagraj as the sacred confluence of the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati. According to ancient beliefs, Saraswati Koop is a revered site where glimpses of the invisible Maa Saraswati can still be experienced, making it a place of profound spiritual significance.
Corridor of Bade Hanuman Temple – Situated on the banks of the Sangam in Prayagraj, the temple of Bade Hanuman, also known as Lete Hanuman Ji, houses a grand idol of Sankatmochan Hanuman. The deity is celebrated for liberating Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman from the captivity of Ahiravan in Patalpuri. For centuries, millions of devotees have visited this temple to offer their prayers and seek blessings.
Bharadwaj Rishi Ashram Corridor – The ashram of Rishi Bharadwaj, the sage who composed verses of the Rigveda, is located in Prayagraj. According to the Ramayana, Lord Shri Ram, along with Mother Sita and Lakshman, sought the blessings and guidance of Rishi Bharadwaj here before embarking on their journey into exile. Renowned as an ancient center of learning, Bharadwaj Ashram is believed to be the world’s first university, where thousands of students studied during the Ramayana era.
Shringaverpur Corridor – Shringaverpur derives its name from the penance site of Rishi Shringi. As described in the Ramayana, this historic location marks the meeting of Lord Shri Ram and his childhood friend Nishadraj. It was here that Nishadraj Kevat ferried Lord Shri Ram across the Ganga, aiding his journey to Prayagraj. This place holds a deep connection to the epic’s narrative and its enduring legacy.
