Lucknow: Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Political Pension Department of Uttar Pradesh, Dharmpal Singh attended the oath taking ceremony of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari Sangh at Animal Husbandry Directorate as the chief guest. Addressing the oath taking ceremony, he said that ‘Pashuseva Asmakam Dharmah’ means service to animals is our religion and the officers and employees of the Animal Husbandry Department have the good fortune that they can perform the work of animal service well through animal science.
In the oath taking ceremony, President of Pashudhan Prasar Adhikari Sangh, Ravindra Singh Yadav took oath as President, Arun Kumar Prajapati as Vice President, Phoolchandra Suman as General Secretary, Harish Singh as Joint Minister, Akhilesh Pandey as Treasurer and Shalini Gupta as Auditor.
On this occasion, the Animal Husbandry Minister said that the state government has done remarkable work in the livestock sector in the past years and the Animal Husbandry Department is in the priority of the government. The Animal Husbandry Department holds an important place not only for livestock conservation but also in giving impetus to the rural economy of the state. Singh told the officials who were taking oath that taking oath will be meaningful only if efforts are made to fulfill the purpose for which the oath was taken.
Singh said that the demands being made by the Livestock Extension Officer Association will be considered sympathetically and no injustice will be allowed to happen to anyone. State President State Employees Union UP Engr. Harikishore Tiwari, State General Secretary State Employees Union Shivbaran Singh Yadav and Dr. Naresh Kumar Additional General Secretary State Employees Joint Council UP were present in the program.
Director Administration and Development Animal Husbandry Department Dr. PN Singh, Additional Director Dr. Arvind Kumar Singh, Additional Director Dr. Jaykesh Pandey and all the Livestock Extension Officers of the state were present in the program.
