New Delhi/Lucknow: In a significant political development ahead of upcoming electoral battles, several leaders and office-bearers from different organizations joined the Indian National Congress, expressing their commitment to the ideals of social justice, constitutional values, and public welfare.
The induction ceremony took place at the All India Congress Committee headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of Rajendra Pal Gautam, former minister and Congress in-charge for Uttar Pradesh.
Among those who joined the Congress were Balvinder Singh, Uttar Pradesh Vice President of Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar); Vijender Valmiki, National Coordinator of the Scheduled Caste Department of Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar); and Dhananjay Pasi, along with hundreds of their office-bearers and supporters.
Welcoming the new entrants into the party, Rajendra Pal Gautam said that the growing support for Congress reflects a desire for political change in Uttar Pradesh. He stated that the increasing number of people joining the party demonstrates public faith in the principles of social justice, constitutional governance, fraternity, and democratic values.

“We wholeheartedly welcome all our colleagues into the Congress family. The expanding support base sends a clear message that Uttar Pradesh is looking for change. The Congress movement for the protection of the Constitution, social justice, brotherhood, and democratic ideals is steadily gaining momentum,” Gautam said.
He also called upon party workers and new members to work collectively towards building a stronger, more inclusive, and just Uttar Pradesh.
The induction is being viewed as part of the Congress party’s efforts to strengthen its organizational base in the state by attracting leaders and grassroots workers from other political and social organizations.
