He has a long way to go, and I feel proud to see someone from my state: Devanggana Chauhan

Mumbai: Actor, anchor, and radio jockey Devanggana Chauhan, who was last seen in Sapnon Ki Chhalaang, Saavi Ki Savaari, and Dhadkan Zindagi Kii, recently appeared on the popular game show Wheel of Fortune. The show is hosted by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. She shared her association with dancer-actor Raghav Juyal. Incidentally, they both belong to Dehradun.

Sharing more about it, Devanggana says, “Raghav was my junior in the same school, and we used to dance together in our school performances. Raghav was part of a dance group, and he did this slow-motion walk, which was very famous. I remember he later came to my college to perform. I must confess we don’t share a typical friendship; it’s just that we know each other.”

She adds, “Way before the reality show, he had performed for the first time at my college, and he was the one who did the slow-mo dance, which later became famous as the cockroach dance. I had also met him on another red carpet when I was hosting one of the cricket shows in Dehradun itself.

Whenever we meet, we talk about school and other memories. I remember that his dance group used to practise at a haunted spot in Dehradun. They were so famous, and they used to perform at all local-level competitions.”

On Raghav’s growth as an artist, Devanggana says, “I last met him at the Grazia Fashion Awards 2026 red carpet. He is extremely talented, hardworking, and always ready to experiment. The way he has shown his versatility through his work is outstanding. He has a long way to go, and I feel proud to see someone from my state.”
