Gonda: A grand rehearsal for the passing out parade of 497 recruit constables was conducted with full dignity, discipline, and precision at the Reserve Police Lines parade ground in Gonda on Friday. The event reflected high standards of training, coordination, and professionalism among the recruits.
Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal attended the rehearsal as the chief guest. He took the ceremonial salute and carried out a detailed inspection of the parade. Expressing satisfaction over the impeccable discipline and drill displayed by the recruits, he also issued key directions to the officials concerned to further fine-tune the final presentation.
During the rehearsal, the recruit constables were administered the oath, reaffirming their commitment to duty and service. Those who excelled in indoor and outdoor training disciplines were felicitated with awards, boosting their morale ahead of the final ceremony. In his address, the Superintendent of Police emphasized the core values of discipline, dedication, and public service, urging the trainees to uphold these principles while discharging their duties with integrity.
He also appreciated the efforts and dedication of both indoor and outdoor instructors, whose guidance has played a crucial role in shaping the recruits. Under their mentorship, the trainees have shown remarkable improvement in discipline, efficiency, and professional competence.

The final passing out parade ceremony is scheduled to be held on April 26, 2026 (Sunday) at 8:00 AM at the same venue. Inspector General of Police, Devi Patan Range, Amit Pathak will grace the occasion as the chief guest, take the salute, and inspect the parade. The ceremony will feature an impressive display of drill and training skills by the recruits, along with an oath-taking ceremony and the presentation of awards to outstanding performers.
Senior police officials present during the rehearsal included Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Radheshyam Rai, Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Ajit Kumar Rajak, Circle Officer Lines Abhishek Davachya, Circle Officer Sadar Shilpa Verma, Reserve Inspector Ajay Pratap Singh, along with instructors and other police personnel.
The successful rehearsal marks a significant milestone for the recruits as they prepare to formally join the police force, embodying discipline, readiness, and a commitment to public service.
