Gonda: National Road Safety Month Concludes with Helmet Distribution to Students

Gonda: The National Road Safety Month, which began on January 1, concluded with a ceremony at Guru Nanak Chowraha. District Magistrate Neha Sharma administered an oath to officials, police personnel, and attendees, urging them to follow traffic rules. The ceremony also included the distribution of helmets to schoolgirls.

In her address, DM Neha Sharma emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic rules to prevent road accidents. She urged people to wear helmets while riding two-wheelers, fasten seat belts in four-wheelers, avoid speeding, and maintain discipline on the roads. She also appealed for helping those injured in road accidents.

During the event, traffic police officers were honored for their exceptional work with helmets and certificates of appreciation.

Helmet Distribution to Schoolgirls

The District Magistrate distributed helmets to schoolgirls, raising awareness about road safety and encouraging them to follow traffic rules for their own safety.

Singh Baghel, Drug Inspector Razia Bano, and Rakesh Singh from the Chemists Association, along with traffic department personnel and schoolgirls.
