Welfare Fairs and Health Camps Organised Across Bareilly District to Mark 12 Years of Central Government

Bareilly: As part of the nationwide public welfare and awareness campaign marking the completion of 12 years of the Central Government, a series of Jan Kalyan Melas (Public Welfare Fairs) and Health Camps are being organised across various development blocks of Bareilly district.

The initiative aims to take government welfare schemes directly to rural communities, ensure doorstep delivery of services, and address public grievances on the spot.

A major Jan Kalyan Camp was organised in Bhojipura Development Block in the presence of Member of Parliament Chhatrapal Gangwar, MLA Kunwar Maharaj Singh, Block Pramukh Yogesh Patel, and Prashant Patel.

During the event, nine tuberculosis patients were provided with nutrition kits under health support initiatives, while ten beneficiaries received Ayushman Cards to facilitate access to healthcare services. Educational books were distributed to a child, two expectant mothers were honoured through traditional Godh Bharai ceremonies, and two children participated in Annaprashan ceremonies marking the beginning of solid food consumption.

The programme also included a plantation drive under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, promoting environmental awareness and conservation. Public representatives interacted with residents and addressed various local issues and grievances during the event.

Similarly, a Jan Kalyan and Health Fair was organised in Mirganj Development Block to commemorate the government’s 12-year milestone. The programme was attended by MLA Dr. D. C. Verma, Mirganj Block Pramukh Krishna Gopal Gangwar, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nidhi Shukla, along with Bharatiya Janata Party office-bearers and officials from various government departments. The event concluded successfully with active participation from the public and administrative representatives.

Public welfare fairs were also organised in Kyara, Fatehganj Paschimi, and Majhgawan development blocks. In Kyara, the programme was attended by MLA Dr. Raghavendra Sharma, while elected representatives and officials participated in similar events across the other blocks.

Officials stated that the campaign is focused on increasing awareness of government welfare programmes, ensuring greater outreach in rural areas, and facilitating direct interaction between citizens and administrative authorities. By bringing multiple departments under one platform, the initiative seeks to provide timely services and solutions to beneficiaries while strengthening public engagement.

The district administration reported enthusiastic participation across all locations, with residents availing themselves of healthcare services, welfare benefits, and grievance redressal facilities offered during the camps.
