Lucknow: The much-anticipated Pradeshik Phal, Shakbhaji aur Pushp Pradarshini-2025 (Regional Fruit, Vegetable, and Flower Exhibition) will take place from February 8 to 10, 2025, at the historic Raj Bhavan grounds in Lucknow. This exhibition will showcase the beauty and variety of regional gardens, featuring entries from individual bungalows, home gardens, office premises, educational institutions, public parks, and even ancient/historical garden sites across Uttar Pradesh.

Registration Process for Entries: January 15–30, 2025

The registration for the exhibition’s various competition categories will begin on January 15, 2025 and continue until January 30, 2025. Interested participants, including garden and home garden enthusiasts, are encouraged to register their entries either online or offline. The online registration will be available on the official website http://upflowershowlko.com, while offline registration can be done at the office of the Superintendent, Rajkiya Udyan, Alam Bagh, Lucknow. The registration will close at 5:00 PM on January 30, 2025.

Preparations for Participants and Judging Process

Dr. V.B. Dwivedi, Director of Horticulture and Food Processing, expressed his expectations for participants to thoroughly prepare their gardens and home gardens in anticipation of the exhibition. “We encourage all participants to ensure that their gardens are well-prepared, as this exhibition provides an opportunity to showcase the diversity and beauty of regional flora,” he said.

The competition entries will be judged by a panel of experts on February 1 and 2, 2025. These judges will assess the gardens and home gardens across various categories, considering factors such as presentation, variety, and creativity.
