Record Number of Registrations for ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ 2025

New Delhi: In a remarkable display of enthusiasm and commitment towards reducing exam stress, the Union Education Ministry has reported that over 3.25 crore students, teachers, and parents have registered to be part of the much-awaited ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ (PPC) 2025, a record-breaking figure for the initiative.

Global Participation: Foreign Students Join the Movement

This year, the initiative has seen unprecedented interest from international students as well, marking the growing global reach of the program. The registration process, which began on December 14, 2024, on the MyGov.in portal, will close today, January 14, 2025.

PPC, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to reduce the stress associated with examinations and provide students with guidance on how to approach their exams without pressure. Through this initiative, the Prime Minister engages with participants, answering questions and offering advice on mental wellness during exams.

Transforming Examinations into a Celebration

The Union Education Ministry believes that PPC is more than just an event; it has become a nationwide movement that encourages students to view examinations as a celebration rather than a stressful period. In each edition, the Prime Minister interacts with students, addressing their concerns and encouraging them to manage stress effectively.

PPC 2025: Nationwide Activities to Celebrate Education

This year marks the 8th edition of PPC, which continues to gain momentum as a true ‘Jan Andolan’ (people’s movement). The program includes various engaging activities at the school level, running from National Youth Day (January 12) to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti (January 23). These activities include indigenous sports competitions, marathon races, meme contests, street plays, yoga and meditation sessions, mental health workshops, and poetry competitions, all designed to celebrate education as a holistic, enjoyable journey.

This year’s edition will be held in an interactive format, and participants will gain valuable insights on how to approach exams with a positive and stress-free mindset. As PPC continues to grow in popularity, it is making a significant impact on how students, educators, and parents perceive exams and stress management.

Building a Future of Confident Students

PPC 2025 is poised to continue its legacy of making examinations a stress-free event, helping students develop resilience and a sense of celebration. Through this initiative, Prime Minister Modi’s vision of creating a supportive, inclusive educational environment is steadily turning into reality, one participant at a time.
