Lucknow: Union Minister of Panchayati Raj and Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh has expressed his gratitude to Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Development Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad for the commendable implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana in Uttar Pradesh. He has appreciated the contribution of Fisheries Development Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad for the schemes run for fisheries development, investment and fishermen welfare as well as for increasing exports and has also invited him to the Summit-2024.
It is noteworthy that on the occasion of National Fisheries Farmers Day on 12 July 2024, Summit-2024 is being organized in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in which the state’s Fisheries Development Cabinet Minister Dr. Sanjay Nishad has been invited. The Union Minister has also praised Dr. Nishad for the well-planned and well-organized operation of fisheries development programs in Uttar Pradesh, increase in inland fish production and implementation of other welfare schemes. In the programme, valuable suggestions and various topics related to finding new possibilities of fisheries, employment generation, fish production and welfare of fish farmers will be discussed.
