The police recovered a stolen Innova car, which the thief was using with a fake number plate.
Acting on a tip-off, the police team set up a blockade and intercepted the vehicle.
The thief attempted to flee but was apprehended on the spot by the police.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the vehicle was stolen, and the number plate was also fake.
A case has been registered at the Gomtinagar police station, and the accused is currently being interrogated.
