Bareilly: Bareilly’s Dipanshi Gangwar has brought recognition to the district by securing fifth place in the state-level online Yoga Painting Competition organised by the Ayush Department, Uttar Pradesh, as part of International Yoga Day 2026 celebrations.
A total of 5,860 participants from across Uttar Pradesh took part in various state-level online yoga competitions organised on the occasion.
In the Yoga Painting Competition, Samarin Javed of Azamgarh secured first place, followed by Anjali Srivastava of Lakhimpur Kheri in second place and Vaishnavi Singh of Chandauli in third. Cadet Muskan Sahu of Lucknow finished fourth, while Dipanshi Gangwar of Bareilly secured fifth place.
Dipanshi’s achievement has brought happiness to her family. Her father, Desh Deepak Gangwar, works as a technical assistant in the Marori development block.
Dipanshi was felicitated by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya for her performance in the state-level competition. Her parents were also present during the felicitation ceremony.
Her accomplishment has been welcomed with pride by her family and residents of Bareilly, highlighting the participation of young people from the district in state-level creative and yoga-related activities.
