Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium to assess the status of pending public grievance petitions received through the public hearings of the Chief Minister, Governor, Revenue Council and Divisional Commissioner.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate conducted a detailed review of all pending complaints and directed officials to ensure their timely and quality disposal. He emphasized that grievance redressal remains a top priority of the state government and that complaints received through public outreach platforms must be handled with utmost seriousness.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the pendency of online references across all tehsils, Avinash Singh instructed the concerned officials to expedite the resolution process and clear all outstanding cases without delay. He noted that the effective disposal of complaints received through the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) and public hearings is among the key priorities of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and that progress is regularly monitored at the highest level.
The District Magistrate directed all departments to ensure that every pending grievance is resolved within the next three days. He also instructed officials to maintain proper records by entering every complaint received during public hearings on the online portal as well as in physical registers to facilitate effective monitoring and accountability.
Highlighting the importance of citizen satisfaction, he directed officers to personally contact complainants after the disposal of their cases and inform them about the action taken on their grievances. This, he said, would help strengthen transparency and public trust in the administration.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Poornima Singh, Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Santosh Kumar Singh, along with all Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars and other concerned officials.
The review meeting underscored the district administration’s commitment to prompt grievance redressal and efficient public service delivery.
