New Delhi/Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya met Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi in a courtesy meeting, during which the two leaders discussed several issues related to the development of Uttar Pradesh.
Maurya described the meeting as a cordial interaction and said he received Shah’s guidance and blessings. Discussions covered a range of matters concerning the state’s development, including the effective implementation of public welfare schemes, rural development, strengthening infrastructure and accelerating ongoing development projects.
The Deputy Chief Minister also briefed the Union minister on the progress of various development and welfare initiatives being implemented by the Uttar Pradesh government.
Maurya said Shah’s guidance has consistently provided “new energy, direction and inspiration” and strengthened his resolve to make development and public service initiatives in Uttar Pradesh more effective and result-oriented.
The meeting also included discussions on organisational matters. The leaders exchanged views on strengthening the organisation, increasing the participation and activity of party workers, and ensuring that the achievements of the government and benefits of welfare schemes reach people across the state.
Maurya expressed his gratitude to Shah for giving him time and providing valuable guidance. He said the Union Home and Cooperation Minister’s guidance would continue to be an important source of inspiration for strengthening both Uttar Pradesh’s development efforts and the organisation.
The meeting comes amid continued focus on accelerating development and welfare initiatives in Uttar Pradesh, while strengthening coordination between the government and the organisational machinery.
