Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh T20 League Season 4 trophy and the captains of all six participating franchises reached the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, where they met Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana in a courtesy meeting.
UP T20 League Governing Council Chairman Dr Sanjay Kapoor accompanied the franchise captains during the visit. Discussions focused on preparations for the upcoming fourth season of the state’s T20 cricket league and arrangements for the tournament.
The visit provided an opportunity to highlight the growing profile of the UP T20 League and its role in promoting cricketing talent from across Uttar Pradesh.
The six franchise captains who attended the meeting were Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Lucknow Falcons, Sameer Rizvi of Kanpur Superstars, Madhav Kaushik of Noida Kings, Aryan Juyal of Gorakhpur Lions, Swastik Chikara of Meerut Mavericks and Karan Sharma of Kashi Rudras.

The presence of the captains alongside the Season 4 trophy marked an important pre-season milestone as the teams prepare for another competitive edition of the league.
With six franchises representing key cities and regions of Uttar Pradesh, the upcoming season is expected to provide another platform for emerging and established players to showcase their talent while strengthening the state’s domestic cricket ecosystem.
