Lucknow Police Trace Missing Five-Year-Old Girl Within an Hour, Reunite Her With Family

Lucknow: Prompt action by the Lucknow Police led to the safe recovery of a missing five-year-old girl within an hour of receiving information about her disappearance.

According to police officials, the family of the child approached the Cantonment Police Station at around 6:35 p.m. on Saturday and reported that their daughter had been missing since approximately 8:00 a.m. after leaving home.

Upon receiving the information, an intensive search operation was immediately launched under the supervision of the Station House Officer of Cantonment Police Station. The search team included Sadar Outpost In-charge Sub-Inspector Rakesh Kumar Chaurasia, Sub-Inspector Raj Gond, and other police personnel.

The police team carried out a thorough review of CCTV footage from nearby locations, questioned local residents and conducted extensive searches at all possible locations to trace the child.

As a result of the swift and coordinated efforts of the police, the missing girl was located safely within just one hour of the report being lodged.

After completing the necessary legal formalities, the child was reunited with her family in good health and condition.

The girl’s family expressed gratitude to the Lucknow Police for their prompt response, sensitivity and professionalism in handling the case. They appreciated the dedication and efficiency of the police team in ensuring the child’s safe return.

The successful recovery once again highlighted the importance of rapid police response and coordinated field efforts in cases involving missing children.
