Lucknow | Under the ongoing “Mission Shakti 5.0” campaign aimed at women’s safety, dignity, and empowerment, an extensive awareness drive was conducted by Pink Booth-69 Khurramnagar under Indiranagar Police Station area in Lucknow Commissionerate.
The initiative, operating under the slogan “Educated Women, Empowered Society – This is the goal of Mission Shakti,” was carried out under the able guidance of Police Commissioner Shri Amarendra Kumar Sengar. The campaign focuses on making women and girls aware of their rights, safety measures, and various government welfare schemes.
Awareness Drive in Khurramnagar Area
On June 10, 2026, the team from Pink Booth-69 Khurramnagar actively conducted foot patrolling around Khurramnagar Chauraha and adjoining areas. During the outreach, women and girls were sensitized regarding women’s safety, respect, and empowerment.

The programme was conducted at Khurramnagar Chauraha under Indiranagar Police Station, Lucknow.

During the campaign, women were provided detailed information about important emergency helpline numbers including:
- 112 (Emergency Response Service)
- 1090 (Women Power Line)
- 181 (Women Helpline)
- 1076 (Chief Minister Helpline)
- 1930 (Cyber Crime Helpline)
They were also informed about facilities such as Women Help Desks, Pink Booths, and the UP-COP mobile application, which are designed to ensure quick police assistance and grievance redressal.
Cyber Safety Awareness
The police team educated participants about cyber safety and warned against online fraud, fake calls, OTP sharing, and social media-related crimes. Women were urged to remain cautious and immediately report any suspicious activity or harassment through official helplines.

Participants were also informed about several women-centric safety and support systems, including:
- Anti-Romeo Squad operations
- Smart City surveillance cameras
- Field patrolling units
- Childline 1098 services
