‘RISE UP’ Expo to Converge Real Estate, Technology, and Capital in Lucknow

LUCKNOW — As India aggressively pursues its national target of achieving 500 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030, Uttar Pradesh is positioning itself as a primary engine driving the country’s green infrastructure transition. In a major step toward this vision, Jaiveer Singh, the State Minister for Tourism and Culture, officially unveiled the curtain-raiser for ‘RISE UP’—formally announcing what is set to become North India’s largest-ever Real Estate and Infrastructure Summit and Expo.

The high-profile, three-day exposition will place green energy and net-zero buildings at its core. Managed and orchestrated by Regal Nexus, the event is scheduled to take place from October 2 to October 4, 2026, at the Avadh Shilp Gram located on Shaheed Path, Lucknow.

📈 The Macroeconomic Landscape: A Surging Market

The launch of the RISE UP platform arrives at a critical economic juncture for India’s built environment. The scale of development across the country is backed by massive projected figures:

  • Real Estate Sector: Valued at approximately ₹45 lakh crore in 2025, India’s real estate market is projected to skyrocket to roughly ₹100 lakh crore by 2032, registering a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of over 13%.

  • Infrastructure Sector: The nation’s infrastructure domain is estimated to expand from ₹173 lakh crore in 2026 to over ₹250 lakh crore by 2031, heavily fueled by continuous capital infusions into expressways, logistics networks, metro corridors, and urban mobility setups.

As India’s most populous state and one of its fastest-growing economies, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly transforming into the primary epicenter for this structural transition. RISE UP has been conceptualized as a premier investment and dialogue platform to bring real estate developers, infrastructure firms, green tech providers, and government policymakers under one roof to unlock these multi-trillion-rupee opportunities.

🏛️ Government Vision: A Secure and Sustainable World-Class Destination

Addressing the gathering at the curtain-raiser, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh emphasized the state’s investor-friendly environment.

“Today, backed by a clear vision and a well-structured investment roadmap, Uttar Pradesh has firmly established itself as a reliable and highly trusted investment destination. Every expressway we construct, every township we plan, and every solar rooftop we promote stands as a testament to this state’s commitment to growing fast, but growing responsibly.”

Jaiveer Singh, Minister for Tourism and Culture, UP

The Minister further stated that RISE UP sends a loud and clear message to global and domestic developers, investors, and innovators: Uttar Pradesh is open for business, world-class in infrastructure, and unconditionally committed to green and energy-efficient building practices. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is moving rapidly toward becoming a $1-trillion economy, with sustainable infrastructure acting as the backbone of this journey.

💡 Connecting Capital to Climate-Friendly Infrastructure

Highlighting the systemic impact of the upcoming expo, Himanshu Kushwaha, CMD of AK Property Solutions App and Partner at Regal Nexus, pointed out that the future of real estate is no longer about simply erecting concrete structures, but about developing smart and sustainable ecosystems.

“RISE UP goes far beyond a conventional exhibition to build a high-impact market coordination ecosystem for North India’s real estate and infrastructure economy,” Kushwaha stated. “The platform is precisely designed to link developers directly with capital, advanced technology, and clear policy directions so that green infrastructure projects shift from boardroom concepts to tangible on-ground realities. It makes sustainability commercially viable, operationally feasible, and highly investable at scale.”

🌍 Aligning with Global Net-Zero Goals

Aligned with India’s climate commitments under the Paris Agreement, the central theme of RISE UP revolves strictly around energy conservation and net-zero construction methodologies. This focus is highly critical given that the building and construction sector accounts for nearly 40% of India’s total energy consumption. With rapid urbanization sweeping across key UP cities like Lucknow, Noida, Agra, Varanasi, and Ayodhya, the state represents the country’s single largest opportunity to implement green infrastructure on a massive scale.

The event is strategically engineered to support the state government’s ambitious mandate of generating 22,000 MW of solar power by 2027, alongside the active initiative to transform five major cultural and religious hubs into model solar cities.
