Mahayagya Held at Temples in Gonda on Vishwakarma Jayanti for National Welfare and Viksit Bharat 2047

Gonda: Mahayagya and special religious rituals were organised at several temples in Gonda district on Thursday to mark Vishwakarma Jayanti and promote the collective resolve for national welfare, peace, prosperity and the creation of Viksit Bharat 2047.

The programmes were held under the Seva Sankalp Campaign, with devotees and officials and employees of concerned departments participating in the religious observances. Prayers were offered for the progress, peace and prosperity of the nation.

As part of the initiative, the Tourism and Culture Department organised mahayagya and special rituals at Prithvinath Temple, Vishwakarma Temple on Jail Road and Vishwakarma Bhagwan Temple on Kachahri Road.

The ceremonies included traditional worship and havan performed according to religious customs. Devotees prayed for the well-being and development of the country and Uttar Pradesh.

Through these spiritual programmes, the department sought to spread the message of collective participation in the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and encourage citizens to contribute to national development.
