Law Department of Rohilkhand University Bids Farewell to Final-Year LL.M. Students

‘Final Verdict: Legacy Never Ends’ Theme Marks Memorable Farewell Celebration

Bareilly: The Department of Law at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, organized a grand farewell ceremony for final-year students of the LL.M. General and LL.M. Business and Corporate Law programmes. The event, hosted by second-semester students, was held under the theme “Final Verdict: Legacy Never Ends.”

The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp before Goddess Saraswati by Dr. Amit Singh, Head of the Department, followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana by student Sukriti Agnihotri.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Amit Singh extended his best wishes to the graduating students for a bright and successful future. He encouraged them to remain committed to their goals, uphold professional ethics, and strive to make their lives meaningful through dedication and perseverance.

The farewell event featured a vibrant array of cultural performances presented by students from both the second and fourth semesters of the LL.M. programmes. Participants including Aishwarya, Sonam, Akshay Dubey, Nighat Parveen, Shivam Jaiswal, Devesh Nath Pathak, Ram Avtar, Zainab, Yash, Mandeep Kaur, Shivalika Yadav, Ayushi, Manisha, Vandana, Nandini, Mayank, and Dheeraj entertained the audience through singing, dancing, and other performances.

As part of the celebration, junior students organized a series of engaging activities and multiple-task competitions for their seniors, including legal quizzes, acting challenges, singing, and dance performances. Based on their overall performance and participation, farewell titles were awarded to outstanding students.

In the LL.M. General category, Mandeep Kaur was crowned Miss Farewell, while Shivam Jaiswal received the title of Mr. Farewell. In the LL.M. Business and Corporate Law programme, Nandini was selected as Miss Farewell and Mayank was named Mr. Farewell.

The successful organization of the event was made possible through the efforts of Dr. Shehnaz Akhtar, Course Coordinator, and second-semester students including Swatantra Veer Singh, Aleeza Parvez, Mansi Maurya, Sukriti, Mohak Maheshwari, Rohil, Navneet, Vaishnavi, Falak Naaz, Ashish, and Swati Singh, among others.

The programme was anchored by Aleeza Parvez and Chaudhary Swatantra Veer Singh, who kept the audience engaged throughout the event.

The farewell ceremony was attended by Dr. Amit Singh, Head of the Department, along with faculty members Dr. Shehnaz Akhtar, Dr. Anuradha Yadav, Ms. Preksha Singh, Dr. Preeti Verma, Dr. Amit Kumar Singh, Dr. Naim Uddin, Dr. Praveen Krishna Chauhan, Dr. Sachin Rastogi, Mr. Sachin Kumar, Mr. Shailendra Singh, and Shraddha Swaroop. Students of LL.M. General and Business & Corporate Law programmes, university staff members, and support personnel including Mohit, Ram Vachan, Ramnath, and Gulab Singh were also present.

The event concluded on a warm and emotional note, celebrating academic achievements, friendships, and the lasting legacy of the graduating batch as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their professional journeys.
