Sultanpur: Under the directions of Superintendent of Police Sultanpur, police teams across the district carried out extensive foot patrols on Saturday to maintain peace, security, and law and order in the area.
As part of the exercise, station house officers and police personnel conducted patrols in markets and other important public locations within their respective jurisdictions. The initiative was aimed at creating a sense of safety, confidence, and reassurance among the general public.
The patrolling was conducted with adequate police force deployment, and officers interacted with local residents, shopkeepers, and commuters during the exercise. Police officials stated that such foot patrols help strengthen public-police relations while also enhancing vigilance in crowded and sensitive areas.
