CMS students script history in Board Exams; Lucknow shines on national stage

  • 4 students score 99.75% in ISC; Vaivaswat of CMS scores 99.80% in ICSE
  • In total, 62 CMS students score above 99%

Lucknow: The students of City Montessori School have delivered a Board Exam performance that has placed Lucknow firmly on the national academic map.

In ISC (Class 12), 4 CMS students have secured an exceptional 99.75%, while in the ICSE (Class 10) exam, six students have scored between 99.80% and 99.40%, securing top national positions.

In all, a remarkable 62 CMS students have scored above 99%, reflecting a consistent culture of excellence.

The ISC toppers with 99.75% include Osheen Agarwal, Sanskriti Chandel, Zainab Fatima and Chhavi Mishra. In ICSE, Vaivaswat Narayan Dubey led with 99.80%, followed by Zahra Fatima and Anay Agarwal (both 99.60%) and Afshaan Ahmad, Divyansh Kushwaha and Farheen Khan with , who scored 99.40%.

What makes the achievement more significant is its scale. A total of 7,030 CMS students appeared for the Board Exam this year, out of which:

  • 3,709 students (52.8%) scored above 90%
  • 1,441 students (20.5%) scored above 95%
  • 1,013 students achieved a perfect 100 in one or more subjects

Speaking about the achievement, CMS Founder, Dr Bharti Gandhi said the results are a testament to the dedication of students, the commitment of teachers, and the unwavering support of parents. “Each result carries a story—of perseverance, sacrifice, and belief. This success belongs to the entire CMS family,” she said.

CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, also expressed heartfelt happiness and said that in CMS emphasis is placed on learning and understanding rather than rote memorization, and these strong results are a reflection of our move to competency based testing in internal exams in the past four years.

To celebrate this landmark achievement, CMS will host a grand Felicitation Ceremony on Saturday, May 2nd at 9:00 am at the CMS Gomti Nagar Extension Campus Auditorium, where all 3,709 students scoring above 90% will be honoured. On this occasion, the 19 CMS students who are the top 3 position holders of ICSE and ISC, will be awarded cheques of Rs. 1 Lakh each and in addition, the 43 other CMS students who secured marks above 99% will be awarded cheques of Rs. 21,000 each by the CMS Management, making a total award of over Rs. 28 Lakh.

Earlier on 2nd May at 7:45 am, the toppers will lead a ‘Victory March’ from Makhdoompur Police Station to the campus auditorium—an inspiring procession celebrating hard work, excellence, and the spirit of achievement.
