In Kabul, Afghanistan’s acting foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi held talks with Iran’s envoy to review bilateral ties and assess the evolving situation in West Asia. The Iranian side outlined its position on recent hostilities, attributing the escalation to external factors.
