Ayodhya’s Largest Project After Ram Mandir: 1,407-Acre Smart Township Takes Shape

Ayodhya: Ayodhya is witnessing its biggest development push after the Ram Mandir Ayodhya, with a 1,407-acre greenfield township rapidly taking shape. The ambitious project, led by the Uttar Pradesh Awas Vikas Parishad, aims to transform the temple city into a modern, eco-friendly urban hub blending spirituality with smart infrastructure.

Located just 4.5 km from the Ram Temple near NH-27 bypass along the Saryu riverfront, around 720 acres of land have already been secured for development. The township will feature modern housing, hotels, wellness hubs, a super-speciality medical centre, high-tech parks, and integrated civic infrastructure. So far, nearly 300 residential plots ranging from 100 to 200 square metres have been allotted, with several allottees receiving formal possession letters.

Nine hotel plots and 21 plots for monasteries and ashrams have also been allocated, boosting religious and cultural tourism. State guest houses for Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, and Goa governments have been earmarked within the township.

Designed with underground utilities, 36-metre-wide roads, green-blue corridors, solar energy systems, and sustainable infrastructure, the project aligns with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of developing a “Navya Ayodhya” as both a spiritual and global investment destination.
