Lucknow: The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign will be taken to all madrasas across Uttar Pradesh, Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf and Haj Danish Azad Ansari said.
Ansari directed the Principal Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department to issue necessary instructions to ensure the campaign reaches madrasas across the state.
The initiative is being carried out following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call and under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
The minister said Har Ghar Tiranga is not merely an event but a mass campaign aimed at strengthening respect for the nation, national pride, unity and integrity.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called upon citizens to participate in this campaign, which is being expanded across Uttar Pradesh with widespread public participation under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,” Ansari said.
He instructed officials to ensure that students and young people studying in madrasas are actively involved in the campaign. Madrasas will be encouraged to organise Tricolour hoisting ceremonies, national anthem programmes, patriotic activities and awareness programmes highlighting the contributions of great freedom fighters.
Ansari said participation in Har Ghar Tiranga would help strengthen among madrasa students a sense of patriotism, national unity and respect for constitutional values.
“The Tricolour is a symbol of our honour, pride and dignity. Under the call of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Chief Minister, every section of Uttar Pradesh will participate in this campaign and convey the message of national unity and integrity with enthusiasm,” he said.
The minister emphasised that involving educational institutions, including madrasas, in the campaign would help create broader public participation and provide young citizens with an opportunity to engage with the country’s national symbols and the legacy of India’s freedom struggle.
