Lucknow: Apna Dal (Sonelal) held a comprehensive organisational review meeting at its camp office, 1-A Mall Avenue, Lucknow, with the sole objective of transforming the party organisation into a highly active, disciplined and decisive force from the booth level to the top leadership.The meeting was chaired by National President and Union Minister Anupriya Patel, while Uttar Pradesh State President Jatav R.P. Gautam presided over the proceedings. Party National Vice-President and Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Ashish Patel was also prominently present.
During the day-long session, a detailed district-wise review of the organisational structure was conducted. District presidents and in-charges presented progress reports from every assembly constituency, and organisational activities were thoroughly evaluated.Addressing the gathering, Anupriya Patel placed the upcoming Panchayat elections at the centre of the party’s strategy and called upon the entire organisation to switch to “Mission Mode”. She issued clear directives:
- Immediate restructuring of booth committees
- Strengthening all party wings (prakoshts) and linking them with public movements
- Intensifying public contact through Jan-Samvad programmes, chaupal meetings, training camps and door-to-door campaigns
- All office-bearers must aggressively raise public issues and ensure swift resolution
Emphasising grassroots strength, the National President stated:
“An organisation is built not by positions but by dedicated workers. Victory in elections is assured only when every worker is seen standing firmly among the people in the field.”State President Jatav R.P. Gautam, in his address, declared:
“The strength of the organisation is the party’s greatest power. In the Panchayat elections, all workers must unite and enter the battlefield with struggle and determination.”The meeting witnessed massive participation from party MLAs, national, state, district and assembly-level office-bearers, and workers. Weak organisational pockets were identified, and concrete strategies were formulated for immediate expansion and strengthening. A detailed roadmap was drawn for upcoming training programmes, district-level conventions, chaupal dialogues and booth-level meetings, with clear responsibilities assigned to all leaders.Reaffirming its commitment, Apna Dal (S) resolved to contest the forthcoming Panchayat elections with full strength, iron discipline and a robust organisational framework, emerging as the powerful voice of the people across Uttar Pradesh and scripting a victorious struggle.
