Mumbai: Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is joining forces with actor Prashant Narayanan once again after 15 years for the upcoming film Naam: To Live Is War. The reunion brings back the creative association behind the 2011 thriller Murder 2, with the new project promising an intense, character-driven narrative.
The film features an ensemble cast comprising Shefali Bagga, Veer Pahariya, Varun Sharma and Vijyant Koli. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, it is produced by Riddhi Chawda and Utsav Upadhyay under the banner of Utsav Entertainment and Productions.

Reflecting on his reunion with Narayanan, Bhatt praised the actor’s ability to immerse himself completely in a character. He recalled the intensity and unpredictability Narayanan brought to Murder 2, qualities he believes make the actor well suited to the new project.
Bhatt also appreciated Shefali Bagga’s energy, curiosity and natural screen presence, noting her contribution to the film’s creative process.

Producers Chawda and Upadhyay credited Bhatt’s guidance and Sachdev’s direction for helping shape the project. They also praised the cast’s collaboration during production.
Sachdev described the filmmaking experience as both demanding and rewarding, acknowledging Bhatt’s mentorship and the cast’s commitment to their roles.
With the return of Bhatt and Narayanan’s creative partnership at its centre, Naam: To Live Is War is shaping up as a notable upcoming project. The makers have yet to announce its official release date or reveal further details about the storyline.
