Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath celebrated Diwali Milan in the holy city of Ayodhya, participating in a series of programmes with prominent saints and community members. Emphasising unity and inclusivity, he said that connecting every section of society is the true path toward establishing Ram Rajya.
The CM first attended a meeting with saints at Karsevakpuram, where he shared light refreshments and honoured them. He then visited the local gaushala and fed cows with jaggery, gram, and bananas—symbolising devotion and service. Addressing the Diwali Milan gathering, he said, “When achievements arrive, we must not become complacent. This is not the time to rest. We must remain alert against forces that divide society and the nation.”
He stressed that the responsibility of preserving harmony has increased after the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla at the temple. “We must connect every section of society. Festivals are meaningful only when the last person in the social order is embraced with joy.”
Highlighting his visit to the homes of sanitation workers and boatmen, the CM said inclusion is the essence of Diwali. “Lord Ram embraced Nishad Raj and accepted Shabari’s devotion. If we work to unite society today, no power can stop the arrival of Ram Rajya. This will realise the vision of a self-reliant India.”
CM Yogi urged the saint community to ensure that the light and sweetness of Diwali reach the underprivileged. “Where there is scarcity, fill the gap with your blessings. Let Diwali not remain confined to homes but illuminate every life,” he appealed.

During his visit, the Chief Minister met saints at Digambar Akhara, Bada Bhakt Mahal, and Maniram Das Chhawni, offering Diwali greetings and gifts. He expressed gratitude to the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, senior seers, organisers, and volunteers for the smooth conduct of the programme.
In a notable gesture of respect for public service, CM Yogi felicitated 150 sanitation workers and 50 boatmen near the helipad at Ram Katha Park. He presented them with gifts and extended heartfelt Diwali wishes, acknowledging their contribution to society.
“By honouring every individual, uplifting the last person, and staying united, we will build a harmonious and prosperous society,” he said, ending with chants of “Jai Shri Ram.”
