New Delhi: Ahead of the league’s 7th edition, GS Delhi Aces has been introduced as a new franchise in the Tennis Premier League (TPL). The GS Delhi Aces franchise has been acquired by Guru Samruddhi House of Investments. Leander Paes, an Indian tennis icon and 18-time Grand Slam champion with an Olympic bronze medal, has become the brand ambassador for GS Delhi Aces.
“Since TPL was founded, I have been involved with it. Paes expressed, “This year is significant for the league as it will become the fourth sporting league in India to complete seven successful seasons, and I’m thrilled to be connected with GS Delhi Aces.”
The GS Delhi Aces launch event occurred in Dubai, representing the inaugural team launch on the international stage in TPL history. More than 500 attendees were present.

It also includes well-known figures like Sania Mirza (Ambassador, Gurgaon Grand Slammers), Mahesh Bhupathi (CEO, SG Sports), Rakul Preet Singh (Co-owner, Hyderabad Strikers), and Sonali Bendre (Co-owner, Chennai Smashers).
Vijay Pusdekar, CMD of Guru Samruddhi and Lead Partner at GS Delhi Aces, remarked on the occasion, “We take great pride in embodying the confidence of delivering an excellent show for tennis fans in Delhi and nationwide.”

Kunal Thakkur, co-founder of TPL, expressed his excitement about the new franchise by stating, “We are delighted to welcome Guru Samruddhi House of Investments to the TPL family as we embark on a landmark seventh season. For the first time this year, the league will include ATP top-ranked players ranked 30–50.

TPL, now in its seventh season, is the fourth Indian sports league to achieve this milestone, joining the ranks of other enduring sporting leagues in India. The league, recognized for its rapid-fire, viewer-friendly style and a blend of international celebrities and up-and-coming Indian talent, keeps drawing leading financiers and worldwide interest.
