HE WAS DECLARED AS PROCLAIMED OFFENDER BY THE HON’BLE COURT OF DELHI
New Delhi: In a proactive move to strengthen law enforcement and ensure justice, the Outer District Police has launched a special drive targeting Proclaimed Offenders (POs) who have evaded the law. This initiative is being carried out under the overall supervision and directions of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Outer District.
As part of this operation, a dedicated police team was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Murari Lal, ACP/Mangol Puri, and under the leadership of Inspector Prabhanshu Kumar, SHO/Rani Bagh. The team comprises ASI Pawan and Head Constable Amit from Police Station Rani Bagh, both of whom have been assigned the responsibility of identifying, tracing, and arresting individuals declared as Proclaimed Offenders by the court.
▶️ OPERATION:
On 06.05.2025, the team received credible intelligence regarding the whereabouts of a proclaimed offender (PO) identified as Laxman@Upender@Tinda. The information indicated that the suspect was hiding in the vicinity of Madipur. Acting promptly on this confidential input, the team planned and executed a targeted raid at the specified location. The operation was carried out successfully, leading to the apprehension of the suspect. Subsequent verification confirmed the identity of the individual as Laxman@Upender@Tinda, thereby validating the received intelligence.
Accused Laxman@Upender@Tinda was declared as a proclaimed offender by the Hon’ble Court of Ms. Ashwarya Sharma, JMFC (01) North West, Rohini Court, Delhi, in connection with the case FIR No.687/13 U/s 498/406/34 IPC, PS Mangolpuri. He was arrested under Section 35.1(D) of the BNSS Act.
