Kickboxer Rinka to get financial support

Gorakhpur: The Yogi government has pledged financial support for Rinka Singh Chaudhary of Gorakhpur, a rising star in kickboxing who recently won silver medals at both the World Cup and Asian Kickboxing Championships. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after meeting Rinka at the Gorakhnath temple, directed officials to ensure she receives the necessary funds for her upcoming international tournaments. He assured Rinka that financial constraints will not hinder her journey to represent India on the global stage.

Rinka, hailing from Gaurimangalpur in Gorakhpur’s Khorabar area, earned a silver medal in the International Kickboxing World Cup in Uzbekistan from September 24-29, and another silver at the Asian Kickboxing Championship in Cambodia from October 6-13. During her meeting with the CM on Friday, Rinka shared her achievements and expressed the need for financial assistance.

Encouraged by her accomplishments, CM Yogi praised Rinka’s dedication and directed officials to provide her with full support. He wished her success in upcoming competitions, hoping she brings home gold medals for India.
