DM presides over meeting to review constable recruitment

Lucknow: In view of the preparations for the direct recruitment 2023 examination for the posts of constable civil police in UP Police, an important meeting was convened  by District Magistrate  Surya Pal Gangwar and Joint Commissioner of Police Crime  Akash Kulhari with all the nodal officers.

The District Magistrate instructed all the officers to conduct the examination peacefully at all the centers by ensuring compliance with the procedures issued by the Recruitment Board. The District Magistrate told that all the center administrators should ensure to study the guidelines issued by the Recruitment Board in depth. There is no scope for any kind of negligence. In case of any emergency or confusion, immediately contact the senior officers and take guidance.

In the meeting, the Joint Commissioner of Police said a helpdesk will be set up by the Police Department at the railway station and bus station. In which the work of providing information related to the examination, geo tag location of examination centers etc. will be done. He informed that on showing the admit card at the helpdesk, the candidates will be provided with information related to the exam and the geo-tagged location of the centre.

In relation to which the District Magistrate suggested that the location of the centres should be made available through QR CODE through posters and pamphlets at railway stations, bus stations and metro stations.

In the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the Transport and Railways to check all the CCTV cameras installed at the stations and bus stands to see if all the cameras are functional or not. Along with the above, the Medical Department was instructed to ensure the arrangement of ambulances at the railway station and bus stand.

Also, the District  Inspector of Schools was instructed to hold a meeting with all the centre in-charges to ensure that all the standards of the Recruitment Board are fully complied with. The District Supply Officer was instructed to put up a rate list at the food shops around the bus station, railway station and examination centres and to prevent any kind of overcharging.

Along with this, instructions were given on Food Safety that food checking and sampling should be done at food shops near bus station, railway station and examination centers and special attention should be paid to water bottles to see if the water is clean or not.

Also, instructions were given to Municipal Corporation to ensure the arrangement of water tankers and mobile toilets at bus station and railway station.

Additional District Magistrate Administration, Additional City Magistrate IV, District School Inspector and other departmental officers were present in the said meeting.
