Lucknow: The campus of Delhi Public School, Shaheedpath, Lucknow, transformed into a vibrant celebration of colour, music and tradition as the school hosted its much-awaited Dandiya Night 2026. Blending festive exuberance with student creativity, the evening brought together students, parents and teachers for a memorable celebration of culture, community and togetherness.

The event was graced by CEO Swati Pal, Principal Dr Manju Lakhanpal, Vice Principal Swati Singh Malhotra and Admission Head Divya Singh. The campus came alive with colourful lights and festive decorations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflected the spirit of the occasion.

One of the evening’s major attractions was the impressive range of games, gift stalls and food counters organised and managed by students. More than just entertainment, these stalls offered young participants an opportunity to put their creativity, teamwork and organisational abilities into practice. Their enthusiasm and initiative drew an encouraging response from parents and visitors, adding a distinctive charm to the celebrations.

The stage remained equally lively, with energetic student dance performances captivating the audience. The performances showcased the students’ confidence and artistic expression, adding rhythm and excitement to the festive atmosphere.

The celebrations featured three lucky draws, attractive prizes and a special Best Dressed award, recognising participants who embraced the occasion in vibrant traditional attire. The award added another colourful dimension to the evening, with traditional outfits contributing to the visual splendour of the event.

At the heart of the celebration was the Dandiya floor, where students, parents and teachers came together to dance to lively beats. The shared moments of laughter, music and movement reflected the inclusive spirit of the occasion, turning the event into more than a cultural programme—it became an opportunity for the school community to connect beyond the classroom.

Dandiya Night 2026 concluded on a joyous note, leaving participants with cherished memories of an evening filled with music, festivity and shared happiness. The celebration highlighted the importance of cultural traditions while providing students with a platform to demonstrate initiative, creativity and collaboration.
