Workshop on Application of Artificial Intelligence and Statistical Tools in Biological Research in Department of Zoology, University of Lucknow was organized.
Lucknow: The first day of a two-day workshop on the “Application of Artificial Intelligence Software and Statistical Tools for Biological Research” was successfully held with the inspiration of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai at the Department of Zoology, University of Lucknow. The workshop aims to equip researchers and students with cutting-edge tools and techniques in the rapidly evolving fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and biostatistics.
The event was convened by Prof. M. Searajuddin, who welcomed the distinguished guests and participants, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful workshop.
The workshop was graced by Dr. Huma Mustafa, Joint Director of UPCST, as the Chief Guest. In her briefing, Dr. Mustafa emphasized the growing importance of integrating AI and statistical methods into biological research, highlighting how these tools can lead to groundbreaking discoveries and innovations.
The workshop featured expert talks by distinguished speakers in the field. Saba Mirza delivered an enlightening presentation on the “Applications of AI Tools in Biological Research,” where she demonstrated the practical use of AI in solving complex biological problems.
Dr. Farha followed with an in-depth session on “Applied Biostatistical Tools,” providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of statistical methods crucial for biological data analysis.
Dr. Talha Jawaid also briefed the audience, adding valuable insights into the ongoing research and future directions in the field. Dr. Hadiya Hussain, the Organizing Secretary, efficiently managed the stage and served as the compere for the event, ensuring a smooth flow of the proceedings.
Adding more weight to the event was the gracious presence of eminent academicians, including Prof. Sudhir Mehrotra, Prof. Puneet Mishra, Prof. Manisha Banerjee, Dr. Kalpana Singh, and Prof. Shaile Malik, who added prestige to the occasion with their presence and participation.
