Bareilly: The day for MJP Rohilkhand University has emerged as a very happy and important one. The teachers of the university have been allotted projects for the Center of Excellence in the financial year 2024-25. Under this, a grant of Rs 9,40,000 has been sanctioned to Professor Madan Lal of the Department of Mathematics, Rs 11 lakh to Dr Atul Sarojwal of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Rs 1,50,000 to Professor S K Pandey of the Department of Chemistry, Rs 9,40,000 to Dr Saurav Mishra of the Department of Pharmacy, Rs 12 lakh to Dr Desh Deepak Sharma of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Rs 11,40,000 to Dr Mukul Kumar Gupta of the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Rs 3,85,000 to Professor Vinay Rishiwal of the Department of Computer Science and Rs 4 lakh 80 thousand to Dr Abha Trivedi of the Department of Animal Science.
Apart from this, Professor Sudhir Kumar of the Department of Physics, Dr. Amit Kumar Verma of the Department of Pharmacy and Dr. Preeti Yadav of the Department of Computer Science have also been provided with a large amount of money for the project.
All these teachers will carry forward the research on their respective subjects. On this auspicious occasion, Prof. K. P. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University convened a meeting of all the teachers who received the project and discussed in detail the topics of their research and its benefits to the society.
The Vice Chancellor said that until the benefit of the research work reaches the general public, the research remains only a publication volume, so we have to come forward and carry forward the research useful for the society and the country. Science is constantly ready to meet the standard of living of man and his needs and all research work should be done keeping in mind the interest of the society and the country.*
The Vice Chancellor also felicitated all the project recipient teachers with flowers and motivated them to carry forward their work with continuous grace and keep the interest of the students paramount.
