Lucknow: An important meeting was held with senior administrative officers under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh regarding providing benefits of public welfare schemes including housing to the poorest families.
In his address, the Chief Secretary informed that the Panchayati Raj Department has prepared a database of 10 poorest families from each Gram Panchayat by conducting a survey, which is approved by the Gram Panchayat. This database includes details of all the members of about 6 lakh families.
The Chief Secretary directed that officials from the government level to the district level should be given access to this data through user ID and password. All the concerned departments should, through their district level officers, saturate these families with those schemes including housing, for which they are eligible.
Additional Chief Secretary Appointment Devesh Chaturvedi, Principal Secretary Planning Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Health Parthasarathi Sen Sharma, Principal Secretary Basic Dr. Shamuga Sundaram, Principal Secretary Namami Gange Anurag Srivastava, Principal Secretary Social Welfare Dr. Hariom, Principal Secretary Child Development and Nutrition Veena Kumari Meena, Secretary Agriculture Anurag Yadav and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
