Bareilly: The Children and Youth Festival 2026 commenced at SRMS Riddhima with the inaugural event, a solo singing competition titled ‘Swaranjali’. The opening day witnessed enthusiastic participation from 10 schools across the Bareilly division.
In the junior category, Swaritt Tiwari from Hartmann College secured the first position, while in the senior category, Shalini Pandey from SRMS Riddhima emerged as the winner. The winners were felicitated by Dev Murti, Founder and Chairman of the SRMS Trust, who extended his best wishes for their future.
Providing details about the festival, Centre Head Dr. Ashish Kumar stated that the event aims to promote holistic development among children and youth by connecting them with fine arts. The festival will feature a series of competitions including singing, dance, theatre, instrumental music, painting, and photography.
During the ‘Swaranjali’ competition, participants were evaluated by a panel comprising Dr. Rita Sharma, Ruchi Shah, and Dr. Ashish Kumar. In the junior category, Atishay Goyal (SRMS Riddhima) secured second place, while Arnav Trivedi (SR International) and Arnav Kanojia (SRMS Riddhima) shared the third position. Special mention awards were given to Bakshish Kaur from BBL Public School and Agrima from The Guru School.

In the senior category, Geetu Arora secured second place and Chandan Mishra finished third. The awards were presented by Dev Murti, along with Dr. Prabhakar Gupta, Principal of CET, and Dr. Shailesh Saxena, Dean Academics of CETR. The event was conducted by Satvik Mishra.
The upcoming events in the festival include ‘Kal Ke Kalakar’ (dance competition) on April 24, ‘Electra’ (band war) on May 1, ‘Stage Spark’ (theatre competition) on May 8, ‘Rangoday’ (painting workshop and competition) on May 15, and ‘Insta Reels’ (photography workshop and competition) on May 22.
Students from schools across the Bareilly division have been invited to submit their entries to SRMS Riddhima for participation in the upcoming events.
