She further wrote, “Dear countrymen, we two sisters dedicated the house that cherishes the memory of the brutal killings that took place in Dhanmondi Bangabandhu Bhavan on 15 August 1975 to the people of Bengal. A memorial museum was built. From the common people of the country to the dignitaries of the country and abroad, this house has been seen. This museum is a monument of freedom. It is very sad that the memory that was the basis of our survival has been burnt to ashes. We are serving you, the purpose of which is to bring a smile on the faces of the suffering people of Bangladesh, to keep the memory of losing your loved ones alive in your hearts. You have also started getting its auspicious fruits. Bangladesh has attained the status of a developing country in the world.”
